To meet the new gasoline specifications, China's oil refinery facing an important question is how to increase gasoline octane. Gasoline octane enhancement to the following ways :
                    (1) process, that is, raising the refining process technologies, such as catalytic cracking, catalytic reforming, alkylation and isomerization;
                    (2) emphasize legitimate, that the redeployment of high-octane components, methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), alcohols;
                    (3) additives, adding that gasoline antiknock additive.

                    After the California MTBE groundwater pollution, parts of the United States have banned the use of MTBE in gasoline. Many users gradually began to find other types of gasoline antiknock additive. Over the years, many people tried to metallic and non-metallic antiknock agent, confirmed by the practice. manganese-based organic compounds are good quality ANTIKNOCKS one, and for many people become the antiknock additive. Currently, manganese-based gasoline antiknock agent as a production-grade unleaded gasoline in the best additives, while widely used in major domestic and foreign refineries.                     4, Manganese-based ANTIKNOCKS Application

                    5, manganese and health
